Exhibits will be judged based on the American Standard of Perfection and the Bantam Standard.
Breeding Rabbits
Purebred rabbit breed show – rabbit exhibits judged based on the American Rabbit Breeders Association Standards of Perfection for their breed (show is not sanctioned).
Cavies
Purebred cavy breed show – cavy exhibits judged based on the American Rabbit Breeders Association Standards of Perfection for their breed (show is not sanctioned).
Dairy Cattle
Competition for registered purebred or grade dairy cattle and replacement heifers. Replacement Heifers (both 1 year and 2 year programs) can be sold as non-terminal animals in the Livestock Auction.
Breeding Beef
Breeding beef show – classes for both registered and grade stock. Beef cattle exhibits judged based on the standards for their breed association. Also – introduced in 2022 – AgFest is proud to offer a breeding beef replacement heifer competition. Entries include breeding heifers raised for the purpose of replacing another female within a reproductive herd. Entries can be sold as non-terminal animals in the Livestock Auction.
Boer Goats
Registered Boer goat breed show – Boer goat exhibits judged based on the standards for their breed association.
Dairy Goats
Registered dairy goat breed show – official show sanctioned by the American Dairy Goat Association.
Breeding Sheep
Registered and non-registered breeding sheep show.
Commercial Gilts
Breeding gilt show – divisions for light and dark crossbreeds.
