ABOUT CAMP
AgFest is excited to announce AgFest Camp! Thanks to the group of dedicated volunteers who has been organizing 4-H Camp for the past few years, AgFest has been given the opportunity to extend what was previously a 4-H-only camp to all AgFest youth, whether they are 4-H, FFA, Grange or Independent.
There are numerous activities for campers to participate in including fishing, hiking, canoeing, swimming, archery, crafts, and sports including basketball and volleyball. Each evening members can look forward to the campfire program which includes singing, skits, and other camp traditions. Everyone is also encouraged to participate in the Talent Show on the final night!
SCHOLARSHIP
The AgFest Camp team is pleased to offer need-based scholarships for camp attendance. Applications will be launched in the Spring.
ELIGIBILITY
CAMPERS
Must be aged 9 to 18 years old as of the start date of camp and a member in good standing of 4-H, Grange or FFA organization based in San Joaquin County. Independent exhibitors are also eligible if they live in San Joaquin County and are exhibiting at the current year of AgFest
JUNIOR COUNSELORS
Must be aged 14 to 18 years old as of the start of camp or incoming Freshman for the current school year and a member in good standing of 4-H, Grange or FFA organization based in San Joaquin County. Independent exhibitors are also eligible if they live in San Joaquin County and are exhibiting at the current year of AgFest.
Junior Counselors must complete a Junior Counselor application and once approved, must attending junior counselor training.
ADULT VOLUNTEERS
Must be 21 years of age or older as of the start of camp, be affiliated with AgFest (example..a parent or relative of an exhibitor, AgFest volunteer, advisor/teacher, etc.), and live in San Joaquin County.
Adult volunteers must complete a background check through LiveScan fingerprint screening.
